Tips if you are bringing your little ones:
Don’t expect too much - you may not get to every talk you hoped to as you will be on your little one’s schedule.
Talk to others in your region to share the load of looking after children so everyone gets the opportunity to listen to some of the speakers. Offer to take turns minding children outside the
chapel. Maybe request an Aunty for support. Remember the Crèche is there for you and your baby/child.
It is OK to have some time off when attending with your child/children - no one will be offended if you don't make it to all of the talks. Do not put too much pressure on yourself and always asks for assistance.
All attendees are mums themselves and a breastfeeding conference is about as baby-friendly as you can get - you will still be able to feed and hold your quiet baby in the chapel. Be mindful of others (including the invited speakers) who are child-free and trying to focus though - wandering
toddlers can be a distraction!
Bring a supply of your child’s food - you may not be able to get what you need at mealtimes.
If someone offers to help - accept it!
Even with all the help that is offered, please remember that your child is your responsibility at all times. We cannot guarantee that there will be no hazards for small children.
